The Foundation Stage Team have been hard at work to make foundation stage at Grenoside Community Primary School a fantastic place to learn and play.

An assessment visit took place on 12th June 2017 to examine evidence compiled by the staff team in support of their application.

Grenoside Community Primary School was awarded the Charter for Quality Provision in the Early Years.
  
The "Areas of Excellence" identified are:

- The impact of strong parental partnerships on the rapid progress that children make in the EYFS. 

- The approach to the development of literacy – particularly the impact on children as independent writers.

Since then the team have continued to maintain high standards and were been reaccredited with the Charter for Quality Provision in July 2018.
